Fees

Sliding Scale Options

I offer a sliding scale rate for psychotherapy services. This rate has been established as part of my commitment to making therapy accessible and supporting clients based on individual financial circumstances. Sliding scale rates are offered on a limited basis to help ensure continued care for those who may not otherwise be able to access services.

When you choose to pay the full fee for therapy, you're not only investing in your own mental health journey but also allowing me to support people who may not otherwise be able to access care.

Insurance

Out-of-network

While I don't directly accept insurance, I'm here to help make the reimbursement process as smooth as possible. Here's what you need to know:

  • I'll provide you with a superbill (detailed receipt) after each session

  • You can submit this to your insurance company for potential reimbursement

  • I encourage you to check your out-of-network benefits with your insurance provider before our first session to understand your coverage and expected reimbursement

Feel free to reach out with any questions about this process – I'm happy to help!

No Surprises Act / Good Faith Estimate

Under the federal No Surprises Act, therapists are required to give this form of notice to patients who are uninsured and insured patients who are not using their health insurance benefits to pay for services.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
